Political leanings aside, what makes one buy a humv? I was behind one this morn, and gosh, is it ugly! I am sure someone behind me was thinking similar thoughts about my LS400.

Why can't fall colors last the whole of fall? All that magnificence is ephemeral, barely 2 weeks of brilliance and it has already started to die out.
Isn't there something about the bright colors combined with cumulonimbus (courtesy, my daughter) clouds above?

Did I really hear that loud pop early this morning? I was rudely (but luckily) woken up at around 5 by a loud bang. Was it a real noise, a dream or my internal alarm?

You would think that the daylight saving hour would help us get up earlier. But seems to have worked the other way in my household! I think I have finally lost that jetlag! Will have to soon get ready for the real one though!

Last, but the most important, do we have to grow up?
